Reports to: Senior Director, Legal and Compliance

Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 base plus bonus and equity

What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating under-resourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

Huntress is incredibly excited to grow our established legal team with the addition of our first procurement manager. As the Procurement Manager, you will implement advanced procurement strategies, and help to ensure the company achieves cost savings. This person will be a proven negotiator, strategic thinker, and hands-on professional to lead the next phase of its procurement function (focusing on technology, SaaS, software, and services) spanning North America, Europe/UK, and Australia. With a strong focus on operations, negotiations, and strategic sourcing, you will be central to optimizing procurement processes and delivering sustainable value to the business. We're looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, willing to roll up their sleeves and dive into the operational aspects of procurement to drive results.

This role will require operational excellence along with balancing efficiency and future-focused procurement innovations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, including senior and executive leadership, legal, and the finance department, to influence decision-making at the highest levels. The role will be imperative as we continue to build and grow our team's framework. There will also be ample career development and growth opportunities in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage global procurement to help drive savings, improve processes, and develop best practices while driving continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to implement and manage a procurement management system (e.g., Zip)

  • Develop compliance monitoring programs to ensure implementation strategies are measurable and successful
  • Define key performance indicators including compliance and monitoring of contracts in alignment with company policies
  • Review and provide recommendations to leadership, in coordination with business stakeholders, developing best-in-class procurement strategies
  • Support and maintain procurement policies and processes, including improving vendor payment terms, contract management, driving sustainability initiatives, and overall vendor management
  • Draft and review contracts with vendors including SOWs, MSA’s, and addendums
  • Work collaboratively with legal, finance, IT, and operations teams to ensure company policies and best practices are followed
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors, facilitate communication, and work to ensure products or services provided meet company requirements
  • Lead the evaluation of suppliers and works to reduce vendor risk by developing scorecards and analyzing vendor performance
  • Make decisions with integrity that align with the organization's code of conduct and financial best interest

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 5+ years experience in vendor negotiations, procurement processes management, company expense analysis, and strategic sourcing activities for an organization (public or private)
  • Experience with procurement and vendor management systems (such as Zip) and spend analytics
  • Ability to operate in a hyper-growth environment and negotiate across a variety of categories
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and locating vendors
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and with business stakeholders of all levels
  • Experience presenting to and working with C-suite executives

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays

  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans

  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
