Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic ITSM Evangelist to represent Atlassian at industry conferences, events and with our customers, all over the world. This role involves promoting IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and our innovative solutions to external audiences. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic speaker and thought leader, capable of engaging with diverse audiences and building strong relationships within the ITSM community globally. We'd love it if you had lived experience of rolling out ITSM solutions such as Atlassian, ServiceNow and BMC.
As an ITSM Evangelist, you will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence and driving the adoption of ITSM frameworks and our products, across the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, seminars, and events, delivering presentations and participating in panel discussions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, partners, and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling content and messaging for external audiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization, providing insights and thought leadership on ITSM practices and innovations.
  • Engage directly with senior leadership teams at our biggest customers to help them understand the transition to effective ITSM and the role of practices, people, and product, working together.
  • Gather feedback from external engagements to inform product development and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT Service Management and hands on experience implementing ITSM solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical product marketing, solutions consulting, implementation, sales engineering, or product management, preferably for ITSM or ITOM software
  • You have a deep understanding of the priorities and needs of ITSM and IT operations leaders
  • You are a communication-pro, you are adept at presenting and demoing the value of products and solutions to IT buyers and influencers as well as internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Confident on the practices, and the products.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. You are skilled at building trusted relationships with analysts and other influencers through product and solution briefings, demos, and evaluations, as well as through online communities and social media
  • Experience in representing organizations at industry events and conferences.
  • Relevant certifications in ITSM or related fields are a plus.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $175,500-234,000
Zone B: $158,000-210,600
Zone C: $145,700-194,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
