Like most ambitious salespeople, Rachel Archer was looking to progress her career. Over the course of about three years, she had accepted three new positions — each one a step up in her professional journey. Though some companies are now serving thousands of clients and have offices all over the country, they haven’t lost sight of their scrappy, nimble roots.
