What We Need

As the Vice President of Revenue Operations, you will sit at the intersection of our Finance, Sales, Supply, Operations, and Marketing teams,  providing quantitative insights, analyses, pricing assistance, and training that enable our Revenue and Supply teams to function optimally and our company to operate, report and adapt to the marketplace.  This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, with a dotted line to the CFO, and will manage the company revenue and gross profit forecasts. The VP will design the methodologies that monitor the performance of our revenue teams, customers, prospects, partners, products and services. They are also expected to influence strategic positioning, contract management, and deal structuring.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and project management skills to work with multiple stakeholders, understand requirements, and shape analytical deliverables.


Responsibilities

  • Merchandising, packaging and deal formulation to ensure desired economics are achieved and contractual requirements are implemented
  • Pricing strategies for sales, rate card management, volume discounting deals and added value deal evaluation, RFP strategies
  • Assessing the sufficiency of and efficacy of the curation of supply and the costs of supply 
  • Assisting with the roll-out of product marketing initiatives and sales training
  • Provide the company forecast of revenues and  gross profit through pipeline management and management of Sales Ops for the Client Partnerships channel, the Platform Partnerships Analyst and the supply analyst
  • Yield optimization strategies, auction mechanics, bid landscape analysis, and throttling recommendations to achieve desired economics and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure CRM system is configured and optimized to support the revenue team’s goals and that key inputs are maintained and up to date
  • Partner with the CRM team to optimize processes for scale, ensuring data-driven decision-making for marketing investments, event participation, land & expand strategies, and customer success practices
  • Evaluation of and coordination of third party partnerships that impact revenue and costs of revenue
  • Oversee the preparation and administration of annual sales compensation plans, including quotas, territories and plan design/improvements
  • Monitor customer retention and satisfaction and assess and communicate reasons for both churn and retention across the org in the hope of taking actionable steps to improve.
  • Manage Exchange Analytics team covering Demand, Supply and Yield analyst functions, along with shared oversight of Sales Ops Analyst


Requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience in Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations, or Business Operations, with substantial experience in the Adtech industry
  • MBA, Masters in Operations Management, or similar degree preferred
  • Experience with key analytical applications (e.g., Excel, Google Suite, Looker/Tableau) and CRM required
  • Solid understanding of SQL and ability to query large data sets
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated, organized, independent, and detail oriented; metrics-driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience  managing external stakeholders


Hiring Process

Select candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We will discuss the Hiring Process details at that time. The hiring process typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • A 45 minute video interview with each Hiring Manager.
  • Candidates will be invited to join a remote on-site interview round, consisting of video interviews with various team members and leadership.
  • Successful candidates will subsequently be made an offer.

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $200,000-$240,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
