The Unemployment Claims Associate will work within the Risk & Insurance team to assist with resolving vendor inquiries, and remitting information to state agencies. This is a temporary, 5-month contract.  

What You Will Work On

  • Process unemployment claims, wage and benefit audits, and other urgent requests from unemployment state departments accurately and timely.
  • Support team with the implementation of enhancements throughout the unemployment process.
  • Liaise between Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Unemployment State Departments to create efficient claims processing.
  • Collect and prepare customer data and other sensitive business information to timely remit to vendors and applicable state agencies.
  • Resolve issues/inquiries generated by our Customer Success team and internal ticket creation system.
  • Assist senior team members in building out internal resources (help articles, training decks, etc.)
  • Collect, scan, sort and file mail.
  • Manage and process Unemployment Claims with an emphasis on data gathering, client communication and case building.
  • Audit, verify and protest unemployment benefit charge statements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an unemployment claims, operations, or customer service related field preferred.
  • Experience with utilizing multiple systems and software programs.

 

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
