We are looking for an SVP, Strategic Key Accounts

Target total compensation ranges from $700,000 - $900,000, including a fixed annual salary between $275,000 - $325,000, target variable between $110,000 - $160,000, an employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About the role:

This role will spearhead strategic initiatives to cultivate and expand relationships with the company's most valuable accounts, which include leading global brands. This role involves crafting and executing a robust business development strategy focused on high-value solution sales within the SaaS, Technology, and Retail Media sectors, targeting deal sizes between $5 million and $100 million. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying and engaging C-level stakeholders to negotiating and closing deals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement a business development strategy for Rokt’s key strategic accounts, including setting revenue targets, driving growth, and forecasting quarterly outcomes.
  • Account Penetration: Target and deepen relationships with 10-15 of Rokt’s top 100 high-value strategic accounts, which are expected to generate between $5-100 million in annual value and represent the world’s leading brands and organizations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key the highest level stakeholders within these organizations, including buyers, decision-makers, influencers, and champions. Gain a comprehensive understanding of their decision-making processes and challenges to better position Rokt’s offerings.
  • Team Management and Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales, customer success, solutions & analytics professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the achievement of individual and team sales goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Executive Leadership: Collaborate with Rokt’s executive team to align strategic sales initiatives with the company’s broader business objectives. Serve as a key advisor on market trends and customer needs, ensuring Rokt’s offerings remain competitive and relevant. Represent Rokt at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings, showcasing the company’s value proposition to external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust multi-level corporate relationships, employing strategies such as executive briefings and meetings to gain deep insights into the customer’s business environment, industry trends, market dynamics, and organizational structure.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Drive the sales process from initial consideration to contract execution, including managing pitch processes, responding to RFPs, and preparing presentations.
  • Partnership Development: Sustain strong executive relationships to deliver ongoing value to both partners and Rokt. Transform partners into highly integrated, multi-tiered collaborators with adoption of multiple Rokt solutions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team, Sales Development Reps (SDRs), VP Operations Consulting, and Industry Vertical VPs to ensure top-notch execution and results.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Take charge of developing Rokt’s marketing materials, overseeing outreach strategies, and maintaining the HubSpot database with up-to-date details on prospect contacts, leads, and deal progression, in collaboration with a Business Development Representative (BDR)
  • Revenue Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Requirements

About you:

  • Experience: A proven track record in closing high-value solution sales within complex SaaS, technology, or retail media environments, with deal sizes ranging from $5 million to $100 million.
  • Strategic Sales Skills: Demonstrable success in selling to and fostering credible relationships at the C-suite level, as well as across various organizational layers and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Highly professional client-facing skills, with the ability to present as polished, articulate, and credible in both business and social settings. Must have a thorough understanding of client businesses and needs.
  • Strategic and Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate a naturally curious and entrepreneurial approach, combining conceptual thinking with attention to detail to identify new revenue opportunities and effectively collaborate with internal teams. Must be able to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital media and marketing technologies, along with substantial experience in priority sectors like e-commerce/retail, travel, or events & ticketing, is highly preferred.
