Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.
Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better, more easily, with our food as medicine platform. We connect people with a telehealth Registered Dietitian, food, and mobile app to improve their nutrition, all covered by health insurance. The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.
We launched two years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.
We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

Reporting to our Director of Clinical Operations and as a critical member of our Clinical Operations team, you’ll lead a variety of projects across the clinical team that help ensure Nourish patients get the care they need and providers have an amazing experience. This means working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders (including our patients, our dietitians, and the rest of the Nourish team), and taking new initiatives from zero to one. You’ll get the opportunity to help optimize and scale our provider growth, provider experience, care strategy, and provider success. You’ll also plug in on a variety of mission-critical workstreams spanning the company.
This role is full-time in NYC (in-person candidates only), with an expectation of 3-4 days in the office per week. Nourish has an NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, scope, launch, and execute high-priority Clinical Operations projects across our core competencies, including:
- Provider growth (onboarding excellent RDs onto Nourish)
- Care strategy (ensuring world-class patient outcomes)
- Provider success (supporting RDs in delivering exceptional care)
- Drive critical metrics (e.g. retention, patient health outcomes) that impact care across different Nourish functions, including growth, partnerships, payers, engineering, and business operations
- Work directly with Nourish leadership to define KPIs, success metrics, and prioritization for clinical initiatives
- Develop strategic thinking to improve clinical care at Nourish, including any data analysis to support decision-making
- Help build and run a high-performing, fast-growing team while maintaining world-class culture
You’ll love this role if:
- You’re passionate about Nourish’s mission. You’re interested in nutrition and are eager to be part of solving America’s healthcare crisis.
- You are a critical thinker/problem solver and comfortable with ambiguity. You are exhilarated by solving new, tough problems and aren’t afraid to come up with creative solutions. You’re able to take an ambiguous problem statement/question and come up with a structured way to solve it, even when it hasn’t been done before.
- You thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. You are energized by a rapidly improving (and thus changing) environment. You are able to move quickly to action and work smarter to get things done efficiently.
- You are detail-oriented, organized and want to own projects end-to-end. When launching a new project or implementing a new initiative, you consider all impacted people / processes / technology and plan accordingly. You fully own the outcomes of the project, including overcoming any roadblocks and pulling others in as needed.
- You don’t like to settle for ‘good enough’. You proactively identify areas for improvement across the organization and bring up suggestions for change. Your work is high quality.
- You love (and excel at) data analysis. A great clinical organization uses data to guide decisions, and here at Nourish, we love data! You are capable of producing high-quality data analysis (including high-level data structuring/approach and the actual execution). You can clearly synthesize results and propose next steps.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 3-6 years of industry experience in management consulting or financial services (e.g., private equity, investment banking, venture capital), corporate strategy, and / or strategy & operations at a high-growth start-up.
- You have strong data analysis skills and are comfortable with data technology (e.g., Excel, Metabase, Alteryx, etc.)
- You enjoy high-level strategy & problem-solving, but also aren’t afraid to get into the weeds when needed
- You take extreme ownership over projects/initiatives you lead
- You enjoy new challenges and jump in headfirst when facing an issue. You are able to adapt to the situation at hand and can be flexible in your approach when new circumstances arise.
- You’re comfortable working cross-functionally with a variety of team members (our patients, insurance companies, our internal team, etc.) and have strong communication skills
- You are extremely organized and skilled at stakeholder management, tracking project success and keeping team members appraised of progress
- You enjoy proactively coming up with solutions when you notice inefficiencies
