Job Description
The Sr. Manager, S2P Application Operations will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes within the organization, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals. This role involves managing the sourcing, procurement, and payment processes, leveraging technology to optimize operations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sourcing, procurement, and finance, with the ability to lead a team and drive process improvements.
This role provides strategic/tactical leadership and oversight for creating, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective technical initiatives and processes in support of business objectives. He/she will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders from both functional and technology organizations as well as operations to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities related to the delivery of technology projects/operations. Candidate will support technology rollouts from initiation to project closure; managing governance around technology processes; supporting issue escalations; and reporting tools. This position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments and collaboration across other technology peer groups. Candidate must have excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence strategy, prioritize business needs and resolve issues. This position is part of the TechOps Enterprise Product organization, reporting to the Director of S2P Applications.

  • Responsible for leading day-to-day business operations for entire S2P applications/environment and escalation point for technology, including enhancements, incidents, and upgrades.
  • Responsible for supporting/managing internal key technical/business stakeholders to drive S2P transformation, technical planning, and design decisions for S2P applications.
  • Responsible for the managing a team of full-time employees including activities such as hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance reviews and performance management.
  • Responsible for serving as a central knowledge champion and subject matter expert for S2P technologies, SAP S/4 HANA and related systems to the technical/developer community.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of S/4 HANA and other S2P software solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to S2P operations using S/4 HANA/SAP analytics tools.
  • Responsible for overseeing additional activities and managing ongoing projects and resources from 3rd party vendors.
  • Keeps up to date with industry trends and makes recommendations to upper management on new features and innovation ideas for S2P applications.
  • Create positive experience & find ways to upsell clients.
  • Maintain program/project level oversight and manage exceptions related to timelines, milestones, and business transformation strategies.
  • Experience in manage budgets, reviewing SoW/Change orders, resource allocation, resource conflicts.
  • Hybrid work locations: Los Angeles, CA, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, New York, NY, or Philadelphia, PA


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management IS or related fields, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience working in Information Technology and proven experience in managing end-to-end S2P processes.
  • 8+ years of Experience with S2P software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
  • 3+ years of prior managerial experience is required.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes with at least 3 years of experience using SAP S/4 HANA.
  • 8+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, user story documentation and solution recommendations.
  • Familiar with vendor masters and AP invoice processing.
  • Experience with SOW modules, Contract Lifecycle Management tools and risk management.
  • Experience using Jira, Service Now/Freshdesk/Zendesk to ensure that all issues are recorded and comply with the issue management process.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively + manage multiple deliverables.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) is a plus.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office 365.
  • Passionate-learner and follower of industry and technical trends.
  • Experience within the media entertainment industry & SAP/Oracle technology.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Signavio, Power BI) to drive data-driven decision-making.


Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
