The Challenge

The Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for owning the development, planning, and execution of enterprise-wide technology initiatives, establishing a comprehensive strategy that supports the company’s goals of efficiency, creativity, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will build and maintain strategic partnerships with business leaders and our studios, possess a strong sense of ownership, deep knowledge of a variety of technologies, and broad problem-solving experience.

Candidates are expected to be aware of industry changes and plan to stay ahead of industry advancements to allow them to help guide the use and implementation of technology standards at Take-Two.


What You’ll Take On

  • Champion initiatives that empower engineering and development teams, promoting a culture of self-service and automation. Create and implement tools, frameworks, and platforms that enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Partner with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to drive alignment on architectural decisions and strategies. Serve as a key advisor on technology trends, providing insights that influence strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Establish and evangelize best practices, standards, and guidelines for software development, system design, and architecture. Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal governance policies to maintain consistency, security, and quality across all technology initiatives.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of architects and engineers focused on driving engineering enablement initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a strong focus on engineering and developer enablement.
  • Proven experience in leading modernization efforts, including cloud migrations, microservices architecture, and API management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operational demands.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern development frameworks.
  • Experience with software development principles, including version control systems, Agile development methodologies, and automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Perforce, Jenkins, Git)
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations in enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Great to Have:

  • Software development or DevOps background (coding/scripting mentorship)
  • Experience running containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Gaming or media production experience (build farms, Perforce)

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $221,100 and $327,240 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
