What you’ll be doing
As a Sponsor Bank Sales Associate, you’ll be integral in expanding Alloy’s partner network of sponsor banks, helping us build relationships, negotiate deals, and identify new opportunities to drive growth. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, working closely with sales, product, and customer success, to support sponsor banks as they integrate with and utilize Alloy’s platform to serve fintech and business clients. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, knowledge of banking, and strong relationship-building skills to drive Alloy’s mission forward in embedded finance.
- Partner Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage sponsor banks that could benefit from Alloy’s identity decisioning solutions, driving new partnerships through consultative selling.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, strategic relationships with sponsor banks, fostering collaboration and aligning Alloy’s solutions with their goals and compliance needs and generating flow through fintech revenue.
- Sales Support: Work alongside the client success team to deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to the unique needs of sponsor banks and their fintech partner for any existing banks in territory-adding new programs.
- Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape in sponsor banking and embedded finance to inform Alloy’s strategy and positioning.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sponsor bank leads, ongoing negotiations, and closed deals within Alloy’s CRM, ensuring timely follow-up and optimal pipeline management.
What we're looking for
- Experience: 4-6+ years in sales, partnership development, or business development within financial services, fintech, or a related sector, ideally with experience in sponsor banking or embedded finance.
- Knowledge of Banking and Fintech: Familiarity with banking operations, compliance, and sponsor banking trends, especially related to AML/KYC requirements.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven success in building relationships and closing deals in a complex sales environment, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to understand market trends, synthesize insights, and adjust strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize Alloy’s positioning.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage the sales pipeline and track engagement.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
