Job Description
The SAP Solution Architect will play a significant role in the definition and implementation of finance operation into SAP. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas within BRIM. This individual will also seek to ensure the optimum utilization of existing finance solutions, other integrated finance applications and considering and / or facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Understanding NBCU business processes requirements by engaging with business partners at enterprise and division level.
• Understand the full life cycle of subscription process through SAP S/4 BRIM (SOM, CM, CC, CI/FICA, FICO)
• Facilitate business requirement definition sessions
• Ensure agreement on design with process owners and implement proposed solutions
• Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and other SAP COE team members
• Craft adaptable, comprehensive and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications
• Review and/or participate in solution build and test activities on SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects.
• Review work performed by other team members as per established standards
• Serve as the conduit between businesses and technology
• Collaborate with peers on the Product team to apply best practices to integrate SAP applications (ECC, S/4, MPM, VISTEX, BRIM, BW, SAC and BPC)
• Continually identify ways to improve support and decrease unnecessary support calls. Identify improvements to applications, processes, and business logic to meet user needs.
• Perform data analysis tasks, in order to trouble shoot errors and user questions.
• Work with the development team to analyze the data when necessary and promptly follow up with the user.
• Conduct periodic training for select super users in different business areas.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to all users and continuous communication.

There are no direct reports to this role, but it is considered a senior role within the SAP team. The NBCU SAP team has approximately 90 team members, and this role is expected to operate independently with minimal guidance from the team manager.
Qualifications

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive SAP hands on experience in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 5 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user base
• Participated in a complete life cycle of a BRIM deployment (Design, Build, Test, and Support)
• Expertise on SAP S/4 BRIM integration across SAP modules (SOM, CM, CC and CI/FICA
  • Experience with BP Master data and integration with ECC systems in regard to BP
• Basic knowledge of BW, SAC and SAP Security
• Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
• Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT
• Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
• Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies, and change control processes
• Familiarity and comfort in working in an outsourced module with onshore and offshore resources
• Strong/effective influencing skills
• Strong/effective problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment

• SAP S/4 HANA & ECC - Order to Cash (OTC)
• Vertex Tax Integration
• Experience with EBCP for SAP security
• Experience with Worksoft, uPerform and HPALM
• PMI certified
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Teams)

This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
