Role

Reorg is looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our Application Development organization within Technology. As a software developer, you will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design, develop, and implement solutions that enable our users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets. The products you and your team build provide a powerful range of data, analytics, intelligence, technology and reports for more than 30,000 leveraged finance and restructuring professionals working within the global credit markets. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets our high-quality standards
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions
  • Debug and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in application development and deployment. 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Python, PHP.
  • Proficiency with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Flask.
  • Familiarity with Vue.
  • Experience running software on Unix/Linux operating systems with Docker
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, and automated testing
  • Strong foundational knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology

At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $130,000-$175,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
