The Role

To assist us on our way, we’re looking for a Senior Tech UX Writer to join our UX team.

As a Senior Tech UX Writer, you'll spearhead content design for our business product. You’ll enable businesses both big and small to learn from feedback, grow their brand, showcase their reputation, and utilize Trustpilot to the fullest. 

As an integral part of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with a fellow Senior UX Writer, as well as Product Designers and Researchers. Your colleagues know what you do and value your expertise. You’ll provide your expert input to co-create innovative, data-driven, and informed experiences–all the while ensuring the Trustpilot voice is embedded in everything from titles to tooltips. You’ll also work with other stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Legal, and Brand, to ensure UX copy balances user needs with other business goals. 

  • Write technical specifications for API products
  • Plan, write, and refine American English content for user flows across Trustpilot’s business products 
  • Collaborate with a fellow Senior UX Writer and product teams to shape experiences, by creating useful content that assists users complete their tasks
  • Work with Product Designers and Researchers to investigate problems. Invoke a sense of others' experiences and use data to inform content choices and solve them
  • Use, uphold, and develop tone and voice content standards and design system. Understand how to use them and assist others in referencing them  
  • Be a strong voice for UX writing throughout the product development process, ensuring the copy is considered from start to finish
  • Promote the UX writing perspective to showcase its value across Trustpilot (including discovery, workshops, deep dives, maintenance, etc.)
  • Explore a range of options—from plain to playful—when drafting copy and articulate the trade-offs of each
  • Collaborate with marketing to align on value propositions and cross-communications for features—and know the opportune moment to apply them

  • Bachelor’s degree in Writing, English, UX Design, Information Architecture, HCI, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience writing content for web or mobile as a UX Writer, Content Designer, Content Strategist, or similar
  • Experience in Technical Writing
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Familiarity with design and research tools–Figma, Miro, UserTesting, or similar. 
  • Experience guiding colleagues in UX writing best practices and establishing UX writing consistency
  • Familiarity with research-informed content design

  • A competitive base salary ranging from $128k - $148k gross per year. This range doesn’t include any variable pay such as bonuses, awards made under Trustpilot’s equity program or other benefits.
