YOUR ROLE

You might describe yourself as inquisitive, creative, organized, and analytical. You have experience in planning engaging marketing programs and using modern marketing automation technology, to deliver on them. You enjoy setting up customer journeys through marketing automation platforms, conducting quality assurance, measuring results, and making informed conclusions based on what you learn.

As the Senior Marketing Program Manager, your role will be crucial in executing and automating our member enrollment and ongoing engagement strategy. Working collaboratively across teams, you will deliver member-focused marketing strategies for Thyme Care. You’ll report to the Director of Member Engagement and together, you’ll ensure marketing and engagement strategies are closely aligned with member enrollment and retention goals. Part of your responsibilities will be to support and ensure all co-branded marketing initiatives for our partners and providers uphold each other's brand integrity while executing with our members in mind. You’ll work closely with designers to create email templates and HTML-driven print campaigns. In addition, you will shape and build technical marketing journeys in Thyme Care’s new marketing automation tools and orchestrate multi-channel, multi-touch campaigns (email, print, SMS, landing pages, and more). You will also report back on any learnings from A/B testing experiments and develop attribution and performance reports.

This role is built for someone who has a sports mindset, thinks outside the box, is a continuous learner, but also loves marketing for good and impacting those around them. Your close collaboration with colleagues will be instrumental in shaping a strategic, data-driven, and creatively adept approach that resonates effectively with potential members and providers across various lines of business, contributing to organizational and company-level enrollment and retention goals. 

  • Leveraging subject matter expertise in email marketing, direct mail, and SMS, you’ll manage B2C and provider programs leveraging marketing automation tools to build journeys using data and marketing best practices to inform campaigns. 
  • Develop and optimize awareness, enrollment, and engagement campaigns across various partnerships that grow brand presence. 
  • Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll develop and execute member journey maps to inform campaign builds and patient segmentation to build personas over time.
  • You will leverage Looker and other data modeling tools to understand, attribute, and develop marketing and engagement performance reports and offer solutions for challenges.
  • You’ll be obsessed with ensuring our members have the best experience with Thyme Care and have the empathy to meet those living with cancer where they are. You know that spam, unclear instructions, and unnecessary clicks/forms/inputs can be incredibly frustrating and can cause members to disengage.
  • You’ll be the power user of our marketing automation software and programs, establishing best practices, organized lists and understanding the technology to execute. 
  • A core measure of success will be to establish strong cross-functional relationships with various stakeholders across the organization. 
  • You’ll be responsible for marketing automation campaign performance and management and for supporting marketing project management using project management software to ensure timely deliverables. 
  • Know the ins and outs of our Enrollment policies and procedures, escalation pathways, product workflows, communications best practices, and documentation standards. 
  • Be responsible for member engagement processes, including strategy development, content creation, collaboration with design teams, and successful campaign execution.
  • Define Thyme Care’s marketing productivity and outcome metrics, and surface trends in direct member communications informing investment. 
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously will demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills. Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail will enhance productivity.
  • You’ll come with experience with marketing automation journey builds, HTML, marketing automation, project management, and excellent communication skills.
  • You’ll play a role in driving results through stellar communication skills with our clients to ensure that client-to-member (B2B2C) marketing programs and implementation of new campaigns are delighting and engaging our clients and members. 
  • You’ll be experienced in developing professional presentations and reporting to ensure stakeholders and clients are engaged and clearly understand what is being presented to them.

You’re an adept project manager; you stay organized even as priorities change quickly. You also earned a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 
  • Comfort with pace and ambiguity. You have experience with scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and startups. You understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, organization, and priorities are par for the course. 
  • Beginning with the end in mind. You are highly analytical. You can dive into member demographics and provider referral pathways to drive enrollment and use those insights to drive growth and results. You can translate research and insights into actionable marketing plans.

As a provider of cancer care navigation, we recognize that those with cancer constitute a vulnerable population at risk of contracting COVID-19.  As such, Thyme Care employees are expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, subject to conflicting laws and exemptions based on medical or religious objections.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. In accordance with New York City law, the base salary for this role, if filled within New York City, is $130,000 - $145,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
