Join our expanding Provider practice as a Senior Manager and play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare delivery. In this dynamic role, you will work with our national Provider practice advising and serving a variety of provider organizations from large health systems that deliver a multitude of services, to niche providers focused in specific areas of healthcare, like home and community-based care. Our team assists providers in uncovering strategic opportunities, developing clear technology roadmaps, and working toward improved outcomes through technology investment. We depend on highly skilled consultants to drive growth – in our clients’ companies and in their own careers.

Senior Managers in our Provider practice have responsibilities across three primary areas of our business, including Client Delivery, Practice Development, and Business Development:

Client Delivery

  • Lead large multi-disciplinary teams serving clients across the healthcare provider industry, with specific capabilities in process and technology consulting, and the capability to confidently engage and influence C-level client resources
  • Direct and oversee comprehensive HCIT software implementations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality
  • Understand underlying relevant healthcare technologies and value chain processes to be able to direct the design, development, testing, and implementation of a technical project
  • Serve as the central communication hub for clients, cultivating strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Manage project economics including tracking project budgets, staffing considerations, creating and delivering invoices, and managing A/R collection processes
  • Support and drive storyline development for project teams – drawing together data analysis, visualizations, recommendations, and financial impacts into a cohesive deliverable

Practice Development

  • Exhibit a leadership style that is collaborative, inclusive, and aligned with our firm's values, fostering a positive and productive team environment
  • Champion the continuous enhancement of WM methodologies, offerings, and approaches, ensuring alignment with industry best practices
  • Support development of industry perspective pieces and client-facing thought leadership
  • Mentor and guide consultants, actively monitoring their development and performance
  • Lead and/or participate in practice development initiatives aimed at growing team culture and building healthcare acumen in newer consultants
  • Participate in the recruiting process for other consultants

Business Development

  • Translate client needs into actionable projects and lead business development initiatives, including RFPs and proposals, to expand existing client relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the firm on business development and sales activities to identify and close new clients
  • Cultivate and expand a robust professional and affiliate network within the local community to drive business growth and enhance WM's market presence
  • Create pricing estimates, proposal decks, and engagement letters, SOWs (statement of work) as part of business development and project initiation
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to the Provider go-to-market strategy; help execute business development campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • of experience in the healthcare provider industry, specializing in healthcare and/or IT consulting, HCIT implementation, process analysis and optimization, or comparable roles within healthcare organizations
  • Strong project management background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience, change management, strategic planning and analysis
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently and mentoring team members across projects
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in business development and sales processes and best practices
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze and interpret P&L statements and technology spend/investment categories required
  • High proficiency with Excel required; experience building financial models a plus
  • Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
