About the team

Alloy is seeking an experienced and dynamic BDR/SDR Manager to join our Team. In this role, you will build, hire and lead our business development team from the ground up! Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will partner closely with our Director of Demand Gen, a world-class Marketing Team and leaders across the GTM organization to uncover and accelerate pipeline opportunities within our target accounts, engaging warm leads, and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will work with prospective customers across the financial services industry, including fintechs, banks, and credit unions, to understand their needs and articulate the value of Alloy's industry-leading identity and fraud prevention platform. 

Leveraging your expertise in sales development, lead generation, and leadership, you will implement and refine approaches to maximize inbound leads, optimize outbound efforts, and maximize conversion rates. This is not a typical “dial for dollars” role – you and your Team will help facilitate our prospective clients’ education of Alloy and move them along the buyer journey as part of an integrated sales and marketing motion. 

This role will have an immediate impact on Alloy's growth trajectory in 2025 and beyond.

What you'll be doing

  • Build, hire, and lead, a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives 
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team on key campaigns and initiatives, and leverage Marketing content, events and assets to engage in personalized outreach and thoughtful, mutli-touch engagement with prospective clients
  • Ensure timely follow up on all MQLs and inbound leads to qualify prospects and drive pipeline
  • Work closely with other members of the GTM Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes 
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing to develop effective messaging and collateral for outbound communications and provide a continuous feedback loop 
  • Leverage data and insights to define efficiency and effectiveness with outreach
  • Drive continuous improvement in key metrics including qualified opportunity generation, conversion rates, and team productivity
  • Create and maintain performance dashboards to track individual and team progress against goals
  • Foster a positive, high-energy team culture focused on collaboration and continuous learning

Who we’re looking for

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales development or business development role
  • At least 1-2 years of leadership experience managing and developing BDR/SDR teams
  • Proven track record of exceeding team performance targets and driving pipeline growth
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, lead generation techniques, outbound strategies, and overall pipeline management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales engagement platforms and tech stack (such as SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.) 
  • Excellent coaching and mentorship skills 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience in financial services or fintech industry
  • History of building and scaling successful BDR teams from the ground up
  • Experience implementing and optimizing GTM tech stacks
  • Track record of promoting BDRs into closing roles or leadership positions

This position has a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 + 50% variable compensation. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and region. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
