What You'll Do
As a Senior Interactive Designer at Authentic Brands Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects across a portfolio of D2C lifestyle, apparel, and footwear brands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop engaging user interfaces, emails, site designs, animated and static ads, and more. Your creative expertise and strategic thinking will help drive our brand's success and enhance the overall user experience.
What You'll be Working on
- Animated and Static Ads:
- Create compelling animated and static ads for various digital channels, including social media, paid search, and display networks
- Ensure all ads align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages
- Work with the marketing team to optimize ad performance through iterative design and A/B testing
- User Interface Design:
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our e-commerce platform
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge
- Site Design:
- Design and maintain the visual aspects of our e-commerce site experiences, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and site improvements
- Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Email Design:
- Design visually appealing and effective email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
- Create responsive email templates that work seamlessly across various devices and email clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and adherence to best practices
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and product management, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions
- Communicate design concepts and strategies effectively to stakeholders and team members
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in interactive design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Sketch, Figma, Canva or similar
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Experience designing for e-commerce platforms and a solid understanding of best practices in online shopping experiences and paid media ad formats
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation
- Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
Primary Location Salary
$105,000 - $115,000
