The Business Partner organization is focused to work closely with Celonis Services & for Ecosystem senior leadership and is a critical team within Celonis. The team operates in a highly visible environment to executive leadership and is a key player in setting Celonis's strategic, operational & financial objectives. The goals of the business partnering include:

  • Guiding executive partners to achieve their operational & financial objectives
  • Providing objective, data-driven insights that assist in strategic decision making
  • Build KPI Frameworks that measure business performance
  • Drive the overall financial performance and -success of Celonis
  • Reporting to VP Strategy, FInance & Operations for Global Ecosystem and Celonis Services

The Lead Business Partner for Ecosystem will be a key role of a fast paced and highly effective global Business Finance & Operations Partners team. This role will help build the business management structure and governances to support business leaders in executing global strategic initiatives that drive growth for Celonis. This role will report into the VP Strategy, Finance & Operations and work closely and directly with the global business leaders especially in Global Ecosystem organization and the Partner Manager teams in our Regional Sales organizations.

  • Analyze large data sets & present findings to finance & business partner senior leadership
  • Build operational tools that help drive the business to their financial & strategic goals
  • Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Value Engineering, Marketing, Services, Finance and Systems teams
  • Drive relentless automation of business assets and improvement in business processes to ensure effective and efficiency operations focussed to serve our Celonis partners and their's & Celonis' prospects and customers



  • Business partnership support for our global Ecosystem organization and Celonis' Executive Team- build trusted relationships with key business partners, Providing objective, data-driven insights that assist in strategic decision making, combining commercial acumen and providing insightful recommendations
  • Drive outlook, manage execution & communicate business performance and forward-looking projections to business leaders and executive management
  • Provide advice & guidance to our senior business leaders through concrete actions for control in business execution and performance improvement tracking
  • Develop and deliver business insights - analyzing results, distilling key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and presenting key messages to senior leadership
  • Build and deploy global models, decisions scenarios and operational processes including short & mid-term business execution plans and annual operating plan
  • Drive comprehensive business planning, seamless business actions & supporting commercial programs as well as rolling forecasting for core performance KPIs
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators across supporting key business stakeholders and as Celonis platform and company strategy further evolves over time
  • Ad-hoc analysis to assess new strategic initiatives and projects



  • BA/BS degree, concentrations in International Business, Finance and/or Economics preferred
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in business operations, partner channel management or related fields with proven business acumen. Technology and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; can establish credibility, build consensus, and partner cross-functionally without direct authority
  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and break down complex problems to provide clear and effective recommendations
  • Impeccable analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to understand drivers and outcomes. Drive for automation of business assets & scaleable operations to ensure ongoing business visibility & effective controls
  • Solid presentation-, communication- and solid Excel skills with attention to detail; experience working with Celonis, Salesforce, Certinia, Workday and/or other data- & BI tools is a plus
  • Team player with the ability to partner cross functionally in growing global organization


The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule.
Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.
The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule.
$95,000 - $165,000 USD
