What You'll Do
The Senior Digital Designer will be a key creative force within the Authentic Digital team, responsible for designing visually compelling and on-brand digital assets that elevate the customer experience across a portfolio of e-commerce sites and digital products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and development, to create designs that drive customer engagement and conversion. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking, ensuring that all design elements are optimized for performance and aligned with the overall brand strategy.
What You'll be Working on
- Digital Design Strategy: Develop and execute the digital design strategy for e-commerce sites, ensuring all design elements (e.g., homepage, landing pages, product pages, banners, and promotional materials) are visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for usability and conversion
- Collaborative Creative Process: Partner with merchandising, marketing, and development teams to translate business goals into creative digital solutions that enhance the online shopping experience. Collaborate on promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal content updates
- User Experience (UX) & UI Design: Design user-friendly, intuitive interfaces that improve the customer journey. Ensure consistency across the user experience by designing navigation systems, product pages, and checkout flows that are both visually attractive and functional
- Responsive & Mobile-First Design: Create responsive designs that provide a seamless experience across devices, with a focus on mobile-first principles. Ensure that all assets are optimized for performance, scalability, and speed
- Brand Consistency & Visual Storytelling: Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, using design to tell a cohesive visual story that aligns with the brand’s voice and values. Work closely with the merchandising team to highlight key products and promotions effectively
- Prototype & Mockups: Create prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for new site features, landing pages, and promotional campaigns. Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- A/B Testing & Data-Driven Design: Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to test and optimize design elements. Use data-driven insights to improve visual content, enhance customer engagement, and increase conversion rates
- Asset Management: Oversee the creation, organization, and management of digital assets, ensuring that design files are properly archived and accessible for future use. Work with external agencies or freelancers as needed for additional creative support
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design, e-commerce, paid media and UX/UI design. Experience within the fashion, lifestyle, or retail industries is a plus
- Proficiency in design tools: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or other design and prototyping tools
- User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of UX/UI principles with the ability to create intuitive, user-friendly designs that drive engagement and conversion
- Creative Vision & Brand Understanding: Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into visually engaging digital experiences that are aligned with the company’s identity and business goals
- Mobile-First Design Expertise: Experience designing for mobile-first environments and ensuring responsive design consistency across devices
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate creative ideas and receive feedback from cross-functional teams. Comfortable presenting concepts and leading creative discussions
- Attention to Detail & Problem Solving: Excellent attention to detail, with a solution-oriented mindset. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- HTML/CSS and Shopify knowledge is a plus but not required for the role
Primary Location Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
