What You’ll Do
This position is intended to be an addition to Authentic’s growing finance team. The Senior Accounting Analyst will join the General Accounting Team and will assist in the monthly book closing, preparing accounting analysis, preparing monthly & quarterly financial reports (internal and external), assist in budget and data analysis, assist in the automation of accounting processes and implement controls over financial reporting.
What you’ll be working on:
- Prepare monthly book closing entries of assigned subsidiaries
- Perform review and analysis of account balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and analyze intercompany transactions, including settlement
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting package
- Assist in the consolidation and preparation of the monthly consolidated reports
- Perform budget to actual analysis, investigate variances and analyze trends
- Work on ad hoc financial projects, including automation of accounting processes
- Assist in accounting for complex and unusual accounting transaction
- Assist in the coordination of requested information with the external auditors and tax accountants
Must Haves:
- Graduate of an accounting degree, CPA a plus
- Minimum 2-3+ years of combined private and public accounting experience preferred, but would consider straight from public accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience with NetSuite and accounting system implementation highly preferred but not required
- Experience in accounting for multiple entities, consolidation and intercompany transactions
- Must possess the following traits:
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Excellent analytic skills, ability to identify variances or unusual trends that will require further investigation
- Good written and oral communication skills, ability to coordinate with personnel across the organization
- Organized and possess good time management skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Primary Location Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000
