Role Value Proposition:
This position will be a key member of the US Pensions product team dedicated to the client service of in-force US Pensions business. This role will be responsible for managing ongoing client service related issues from start to finish. The role will collaborate with Pricing, Legal, Contracts and RIS Operations and be the primary point of contact between internal partners and our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to existing Pension Risk Transfer clients
- Key areas of focus are clients who have ongoing service requests such as pension deductions, cost-of-living-adjustments (COLA) and ongoing reporting requirements.
- Ability to identify other potential customer needs and offer tailored solutions that meet those needs.
- Requires collaboration with key stakeholders to develop project plans and monitor resources to maximize deliverables.
- Act as a subject matter expert and demonstrate knowledge of product
- Review processes and procedures to ensure accuracy. Develop and execute plans to correct any issues identified and monitor progress.
- Committed to owning client issues from start to finish.
- Provide leadership and guidance to internal partners when developing solutions
- Communicate issues and solutions to the team and upper management
- Partner with key stakeholders to build strong working relations and improve workflow and organizational efficiency
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 4-10 years related experience
- Understanding of annuity products and pension benefits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong relationship management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Project management skills including leading projects and working effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior client management experience
- Self-motivated
- Proficient use of Office Support Tools
- Ability to obtain (or already have) Life and Health licenses within 6 months of hire
