As a Revenue Accountant at Cohere, you will:

• Be responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned month, quarter, and year-end revenue-related close items, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis

• Review sales orders for accuracy and ensure correct entry into the system

• Ensure proper billing setup and execution

• Apply customer cash receipts to outstanding invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment application

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication regarding billing, collections, and account reconciliation

• Support external audit requirements related to revenue

• Assist the Finance team with ad hoc research, reporting and projects as it pertains to revenue, deferred revenue, AR and ARR

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field

• 2–4 years of experience in order-to-cash, revenue accounting preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.

• A proactive problem-solving mindset and a “can-do” attitude.

• Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite (preferred).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.
