Job Description
NBC Universal's Technical Operations Product team builds products and services to organizations throughout NBCUniversal including Ad Sales, Broadcast Operations, NBC Digital, NBC News, NBC Sports, Cable Entertainment brands and local TV stations. The Enterprise Product team span 6 key verticals: Content Management, Content Sales and Finance, Scheduling and Distribution, Ad Sales, Ad Technology and Integration, Data and Analytics, and Linear Distribution. As a part of the Ad Technology and Integration team, you will be instrumental in owning and delivering on NBCUniversal's Ad Integration roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities
- You will oversee the ad tech roadmap, ensuring that features are prioritized based on business and technical needs. This involves making strategic decisions about what the product will focus on and aligning those decisions with company goals
- Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and work with integration and product architecture teams to execute and deliver these requirements. Balancing the input from different stakeholders in a matrixed environment will be crucial
- Maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories
- Fully documenting product features and measuring their performance through KPIs will be critical in influencing future product decisions.
- Drive quarterly planning to develop a proactive roadmap across quarterly increments based on stakeholder inputs and internal requirements
- Collaborate across teams and with architecture and solutions leaders to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of the business.
- Lead regular roadmap and feature reviews across internal stakeholders
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Software Development or equivalent experience required
- 5 years+ of product management experience, program management experience, or other Agile experience, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps and launches
- 2 years+ of direct stakeholder management experience in a matrixed organization
- 1 year + of relevant work experience in the technology or media industry
- 1 year + experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
- 1 year + experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities
- Expertise in managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management
- Natural problem solver, who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment and is highly collaborative
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years + of digital ad serving, or TV/broadcast is a plus, as it directly relates to the products and services managed in this role.
- 1 year + of experience in streaming media
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira is important for tracking and managing features.
- The ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is emphasized, signaling the need for adaptability and proactive communication

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
