Why we're hiring

We’re seeking out a scrappy, metrics-driven product operations analyst to help supercharge Product & Engineering Operations! This role will report to the Senior Technical Chief of Staff and work closely with the CPO, CTO, and P&E leaders. The Product Operations Analyst will be critical in building out the processes and insights that help us to drive efficiency and build a world class product. 

What you'll be doing

The Product Operations Analyst will support all things P&E operations, working both tactically and strategically to make sure everything runs smoothly, while driving improvements in the way we work. This is a great role for someone who loves variety, working cross-functionally, and using a blend of people skills and technical abilities to get a job done. You will partner with leaders and teams throughout the whole organization.

As Product Operations Analyst, you will: 

  • Improve, manage and socialize our processes for feature requests, bugs and product work.
  • Build internal reporting capabilities to create leadership-level visibility into product performance, internal efficiency, and operations.
  • Plan and manage recurring team rituals, including offsites, All Hands, Hackathons, etc. Drive iteration on the agenda and goals with feedback from across the organization.
  • Work cross-functionally with partners in Finance, Revenue, Marketing, & Professional Services to support various operational needs and build relationships.
  • Assist in building a brand new Product Operations function at Alloy, helping set the strategy, culture, and internal storytelling of the way we work.

The ideal candidate:

  • Can build systems and processes to facilitate internal operations.
  • Enjoys being scrappy and moving fast, while continuing to iterate for continual improvement.
  • Is a great communicator and relationship builder.
  • Cares about culture and will be a key influencer in building a high-performing team.

Candidates for this role should have: 

  • 3+ years of relevant project management or analyst experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a technology organization, preferably software and product development, and the ability to work with product and engineering leaders and SMEs. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Jira, Pendo, or other engineering or product tooling
  • Experience building metrics reporting capabilities for product & engineering teams

This position has a starting base salary of $122,000 and a midpoint base salary of $144,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
