The Improve vertical is all about helping our clients get the most out of Alloy. We use data, machine learning, insights, and a suite of testing tools to help clients understand their performance, make smart changes, and see real results. Our goal is to boost automation, improve efficiency, and cut down on fraud. We're passionate about innovation and making sure our clients get the best from Alloy.

The Insights team is dedicated to helping clients learn from their data and performance. We provide actionable recommendations to drive better results, whether it's suggesting new rulesets to proactively mitigate a fraud attack and or reducing false positive rates to automate alert triage. This year, our goal is to enhance how we deliver insights and recommendations so clients can independently use these tools within the dashboard, scaling our impact and empowering them to achieve better outcomes on their own.

What you'll be doing

We’re looking for a passionate Product Manager who thrives on data, analytics, and insights. In this role, you’ll dive deep into client data to uncover valuable insights and work closely with our Client Success team to help clients leverage these findings effectively. You’ll also collaborate with our Data Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and enhance both internal and external dashboards, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our clients. As the Product Manager for Insights, your main responsibilities are:

  • Define and execute Insight’s strategic quarterly roadmap to advance the vision for policy improvement experiences, while proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and roadblocks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Product Designer to lead a dedicated squad of full-stack engineers and data scientists.
  • Interface directly with clients and internal client teams to understand their business objectives, translate their needs into actionable requirements, and present insights clearly and effectively.
  • Work with go-to-market teams, including Product Marketing and Client Success, to drive excitement and adoption of new product capabilities, ensuring a unified strategy for successful product launches.
  • Develop a deep understanding of both the product and the identity risk industry, offering valuable insights on product direction, functionality, and its impact on reducing identity risk.

Who we're looking for 

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Improve, Alloy is looking for a client-centric Product Manager with a proven record of launching high-impact data-driven products for a diverse client base. Candidates for this role should: 

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a Product Management role 
    • 1-2 years focused on data analytics and insights, with a track record of successfully delivering data-driven solutions to clients.
  • Have experience building both internal and client-facing analytics dashboards
  • Be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can connect customer use cases to technical solutions and think holistically about end-to-end experience. 
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts
  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.  
  • Have experience working at a fast-paced SaaS startup
  • Be comfortable, even enthusiastic, to come into the office located in NYC on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

  • Experience using analytics tools and querying data tables with basic SQL
  • Experience collaborating with client success teams on client upsell recommendations
