The Vendor Management and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing all vendor communications and handling procurement processes for RTR's non-inventory spend. This role involves developing innovative procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with RTR standards, identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting business performance, and continuously improving key performance indicators (KPIs).

at our fulfillment center in Dallas (Arlington, Texas) or Secaucus, New Jersey.
This role requires on-site presence three days a week.

  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Procurement to implement best practices in Procurement & Accounts Payable processes.
  • Manage vendor setup in Tipalti & Dynamics, ensuring compliance and accurate vendor information.
  • Handle internal and external communications regarding invoice and payment status, resolving disputes promptly.
  • Streamline the vendor upload process, addressing non-compliance and software issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor account data in Dynamics for accurate reporting.
  • Track and report invoice aging, ensuring timely payment approvals or escalations.
  • Administer vendor contract agreements, ensuring compliance with RTR’s payment terms.
  • Ensure vendor spending aligns with RTR legal contract requirements.
  • Ensure timely processing of all orders by securing necessary approvals from the operations leadership before proceeding with the order.
  • Identify and leverage cost-saving opportunities during the ordering process.

  • At least 2 years experience with vendor SLA, contract terms, and AP form compliance (e.g., tax forms, banking instructions).
  • Proficient in computer skills, including spreadsheet software and presentation tools; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in data collection, organization, and analysis.
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally and influencing others to achieve best practices.
  • Familiarity with a warehouse environment.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and high attention to detail.
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to articulate viewpoints and improve processes.
  • Capable of making independent decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
