Job Summary
The Principal Systems Architect is a visionary technologist and strategic thinker who plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology landscape. They are responsible for driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning technology solutions with overarching business goals, particularly in specializing in Google Cloud based solutions, using gRPC APIs and Google products. The Principal Systems Architect is a highly collaborative leader who fosters strong partnerships across product, design, and engineering teams to deliver world-class software solutions.
Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in architecture and design.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in relevant technologies and tools, including programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $155,509.00 - $222,156.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
