Own is seeking a motivated to join our global People Operations team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about HR and eager to develop in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This position plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting a diverse range of responsibilities. These include owning the employee lifecycle operations, driving process improvements, and contributing to the optimization of our HRIS system (Workday) and its functionality

  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding using our HRIS, Workday.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and execute logistics for new hire orientation.
  • Ensure timely verification of I9s and completion of onboarding and offboarding paperwork in adherence to payroll and compliance deadlines.
  • Take full ownership of HRIS data entry and maintenance of employee personnel files across the US, India, and Australia.
  • Enable HR stakeholders and cross-functional partners on new and existing processes.
  • Document process changes, Workday system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity through processing controls and regular audits.
  • Address internal and external inquiries or requests received in the People team inbox.
  • Conduct employment verifications, exit interviews, handle ad-hoc reporting requests, and contribute to HR projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Information Systems
  • 1-2 years of experience (internships included) in an HR or data and systems-focused role
  • Experience with Workday or other HR systems is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy 
  • Team player with a can do attitude and ability to problem solve
  • Intermediate excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
