People Operations Generalist

As Nourish’s first People Operations Generalist, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting our mission to revolutionize healthcare. Reporting directly to our People & Talent Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to help optimize and scale our People Operations while supporting our dynamic team.

This role is full-time and open to remote or in Nourish’s NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees. Coordinate orientation sessions, handle necessary paperwork, and conduct exit interviews.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and foster a positive work environment that supports employee wellness and engagement.
• Administer various types of leaves, including but not limited to FMLA, personal leaves, and disability accommodations. Stay abreast of state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in day-to-day HR operations, maintaining accurate records and databases. Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations across all 50 states. Ensure company policies align with legal requirements.
• Maintain and organize HR documentation, including employee records, benefits information, and compliance records.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a high-growth tech startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across all 50 states.
• Experience in administering leaves and managing the onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Empathetic and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related tools.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• SHRM certification a plus!
