TITLE: Manager, Business Planning
LOCATION: Stamford, CT
JOB SUMMARY: Provide recommendations following data analysis on capital spending, analyze trends, and identify risks and cost savings opportunities for customer operations. Employ quantitative and analytical methods to interpret data in order to assist decision-making and policy formulation for financial planning and control related to capital expenses. Perform matrix management of planning and reporting processes of capital expense and subscriber credits for customer operations. Utilize tools and technologies for data analysis and reporting including Hyperion (Essbase) and SAP. Manage annual capital budgeting processes, over the top forecast processes, the quarterly capital forecasting processes, and appropriation processes. Analyze subscriber credit activities. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports. Conduct financial modeling and interpret financial models to forecast results. Ensure key performance indicators are met. Assist in ad hoc information and reporting requests.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Must have 3 years of experience utilizing Hyperion (Essbase) or SAP for data analysis and generating reports; preparing complex financial models to forecast results; analyzing and interpreting complex financial information to provide business and policy recommendations; and managing multiple work streams at the same time. Experience may be gained pre/post/during Bachelor's degree.
