Invent today. Shape tomorrow.
The Role

Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.
To solve this problem, we expanded into software and built integrated solutions to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes - large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We're building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
The Role
The Globalization team supports Square's purpose of economic empowerment anywhere in the world. Our goal is to create authentic, remarkable and locally relevant experiences for international Sellers. We are looking for a highly motivated project manager to join our team and shape the Square message with maximum local relevance, amplifying our brand and products in key markets around the globe.
You Will

  • Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive localization for all assets by owning planning, prioritization and velocity to ensure a remarkable experience for stakeholders and international sellers alike.
  • Ensure successful localized launches by staying aligned with stakeholders' goals and priorities to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Iterate on localization processes that address stakeholders' needs and deliver value to International Sellers.
  • Support designing and documenting localization workflows by working closely with program managers.

You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in localization project management, including vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills: ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, keeping sight of the big picture while interacting with various stakeholders simultaneously and tracking detailed milestones.
  • Demonstrated planning skills with a risk-mitigation mindset.
  • Ability to identify requirements, prioritize critical deliverables and clearly articulate status updates to different audiences, filtering relevant information.
  • Experience with translation management systems, content management systems, video localization tools and LQA testing methodologies.

What We Do

Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together.

So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality through Afterpay, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.

Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.

Why Work With Us
