The current infrastructure for retirement is broken, and we’re on a mission to fix it.
The Role
Why We Exist

Every morning, 11,000 Americans wake up and begin their first day of retirement. While retirement should be an exciting, empowering, and fulfilling part of one’s life, the reality today is that retirement brings along with it a fundamentally new set of challenges that make it an overwhelming time for many.
At Chapter, we believe that the current infrastructure for retirement is broken, and we’re on a mission to fix it. We’ve started by building industry leading technology to solve the first major obstacle in retirement: navigating Medicare (healthcare coverage for retirees over 65). Our products help seniors sign up, choose an insurance plan, and leverage their plan after they are enrolled. And, unlike most Medicare advisors who only search plans that pay them, Chapter searches every Medicare option nationwide. This allows us to find savings and benefits that others miss.
But our ambition doesn’t stop with Medicare — we seek to transform the way that Americans navigate and experience retirement. If this sounds exciting to you, we’d love to speak with you.

How You’ll Contribute to Our Mission

Our team of internal Medicare Advisors uses our proprietary technology to find the best Medicare plan for any senior who speaks with us - searching across all 25,000+ Medicare plans, across all insurance carriers. There are several critical internal ops processes that enable our Advisors to provide exceptional service to our members..

Chapter is looking for a strong Project Manager (Contract)  to join our Medicare Advisory Ops Team and manage these processes.  In this role, not only will you be responsible for managing the outcome of these processes (ensuring we hit our goals in a timely manner), but you will also act as an important thought partner to our Ops and Engineering teams as we continue to improve and streamline these processes.

What You’ll Do

You’ll oversee two critical ops processes to help our Advisors serve our Members well.  You will also act as an important thought partner to our Advisory Ops and Engineering teams to help continue to improve and automate these processes.

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders (Advisory Leadership, Advisors, State Agencies, and Insurance Carriers) to ensure timely and efficient contracting and licensing
  • Proactively track the status of Medicare Advisor license and contract approvals, to ensure that they are ready to sell Medicare plans, and in compliance with government regulations

Submission Approval Process

  • Use our internal tooling to ensure that newly submitted Medicare Applications by our members, are approved and put into effect by insurance carriers
  • Proactively communicate with insurance carriers when there are delays to approving Medicare Plans that our members have enrolled in
  • Communicate status and performance updates to internal leadership

About You

  • 2-3 years of project management or operations at a tech-driven company
  • Excellent organizational skills (including time management, prioritization, and ability to appropriately track and sequence )
  • Strong attention to detail.  You have the ability to identify process errors and improvement opportunities.
