Job Title: Lead Supervisor, US Structured Credit (multiple positions)
Location: New York, NY
Base salary: $169,707 - $174,707
Annual bonus target: 15%
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of US Structured Credit (SC) ratings. Ensure ratings reflect rigorous and timely credit analysis.
- Oversee production of detailed discussion and committee memos for US Structured Credit.
- Assist junior analysts with drafting memos, press releases, presale and rating reports.
- Foster a compliance-oriented mindset within the team.
- Lead transaction analytics for both new issue and surveillance SC ratings.
- Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, reports and legal documents for the purpose of producing ratings and publishing rating reports.
- Present rating recommendations to a committee of credit analysts.
- Assess legal, regulatory, counterparty and other risks related to SC transactions.
- Participate in conversations with market participants.
- Coach, mentor and develop analysts in NYC and Mumbai.
- Coach and mentor new hires within their career paths for the purpose of further affiliation with in business function within the team (analytics, new deal, surveillance).
- Coordinate the US SC team's activities to support timely rating execution.
- Handle compliance requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in management reporting, training and discussions.
- Build rapport with internal ratings teams and engage regularly with market participants and clients, communicating credit views and demonstrating CLO market and credit rating industry knowledge.
- Manage and foster relationships with the highest level of professional integrity, transparency and fairness.
- Co-manage US SC Research production, collaborate with other internal ratings teams in research.
- Conduct market research and produce research commentaries related to US SC with targeted outreach to the market.
- Respond to market participant inquiries regarding methodologies, analysis and research.

Requirements:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or foreign equivalent and 7 years of related work experience in Assistant Vice President, Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a related position.
This position also requires:
- 7 years of experience with quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills necessary to make decisions and solve problems;
- 5 years of experience with advanced credit analysis skills such as transaction structuring, legal documentation review, and cash flow-based analysis;
- 5 years of experience with reading and interpreting complex structured credit financial instruments;
- 5 years of experience with modelling skills and spreadsheet-based financial models; and
- 5 years of experience operating as a lead and managing multiple projects in a high-pressure financial environment with conflicting priorities.
