Lead HRIS Consultant - AI & Skills
Role Value Proposition:
As a part of the Human Resources Digital Strategy and Technology Operations team, this position will focus on the design, development, i mplementation, enhancement, and research into new and existing technologies in support of Core HR activities with a key focus on AI initiatives and our HR Skills strategy. This role will work with all HR teams, the Skills Strategy team and our technology team to look for areas of synergy, integration opportunities and ways to better leverage our platforms and create a great employee experience. They will develop and grow partnerships across Human Resources to better understand each HR team's strategy and consult on the technical solutions that will help deliver on that strategy. This partnership will also enhance awareness and adoption of HR Digital Strategy and HR processes, with a focus on simplicity, agility, and continuous improvement. They will also create key partnerships with other teams across MetLife including the Global Operations Support Center, and our Global Technology teams, as well as key external partners.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages process design, development, and implementation of new and existing functionality that optimizes the HR related employee experience.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including HR, IT and implementation consultants, to drive technology solutions and business processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Understand internal and external environments to inform the development and selection of HR technology solutions as systems and platforms evolve.
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends and advances in the HR Technology landscape.
  • Explore HR platform capabilities to find areas of opportunity for closer data integration and enhanced employee experience.
  • Lead complex, large-sized projects to implement new platforms and modifications and enhancements for Core HR and Talent technology solutions.
  • Practice and advocate agile methodology to accommodate business needs and varying timelines.
  • Manages relationships with vendors and implementation consultants, as needed.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Experience in managing support processes for Core HCM, Talent, Learning other HR systems.
  • Experience in implementing Core HCM, Talent, Learning other HR systems.
  • Experience in process development, review, and redesign.
  • Experience managing complex, large-sized projects and adhering to timelines and established budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive conversations and decisions with key stakeholders.
  • Experience providing technology solutions in a SaaS Cloud environment with proven ability to understand and manage end-to-end impacts.
  • Proven continuous improvement results.
  • Understanding strategic initiatives and putting them into practice.
  • Motivated, focused, and innovative.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing virtual teams in a global environment.


Required:

  • Prior experience supporting Core HCM and Talent SaaS Cloud technology, preferably Oracle Cloud.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Solutions (Teams, Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Understanding of key AI concepts
  • Experience in managing the integration of skills across multiple HR platforms
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Continuous Learning mindset


Preferred:

  • Experience managing Core HCM and Talent releases for SaaS products.
  • Understanding of Skill Data, Taxonomy and Lineage
  • 8-10 years relevant work experience.

The salary range for applicants for this position is $80,000 - $134,700.
