The Role
adMarketplace is looking for a temp-to-perm entry-level, junior in-house graphic designer to be responsible for the development and execution of graphic design across various platforms and touch points. The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for resolving a wide range of design challenges ranging from digital display ad creation, presentation design, print/digital marketing, event production, and website updates. The Junior Designer must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly and efficiently developing best practices for the position. Reporting to the Senior Creative Designer, the Junior Designer is a key member of the marketing team, working across all parts of the company; including sales, product development, technology, and operations.
What You'll Do:

  • Create and manage sales and business development decks including media and pitch kits.
  • Maintain and help create social media assets
  • Create and manage production of marketing materials for events, including internal and external promotional, trade shows and other events.
  • Manage visual and information design of web properties, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging appropriate to the site.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of agency, corporate, and/or ad tech design experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with a proven capacity to prioritize and perform time-sensitive tasks
  • Strong understanding of design, typography, composition, hierarchy of information, and color theory.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, and be able to think strategically about both short and long-term solutions
  • Possesses superior problem-solving, collaborative, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently as well within the team
  • Excellent communicator who can effectively share creative insights across all the company's teams while reporting regularly to executive and senior management
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, ID, AE and PR), Google Slides, Google Sheets, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • DSLR photography, video, Wordpress and animation experience is a plus!


Portfolio presentation is expected; include URL to the portfolio website.
*A plus if you are Wordpress certified and have website development skills
*Compensation Range: $30-$35 dollars per hour

Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs.
