The Team You Will Join
The candidate will join the Global Identity and Access Management team, part of Global Security organization. This position is a key position working across the IAM domains to help on the MetLife Transformation building our next generation of Identity and Access Management projects. This position will report to the IAM Strategy and Business Enablement function.
The Opportunity
The IAM Program Manager is responsible for designing and implementing large and complex IAM programs on a global scale. The ideal candidate would have a solid foundation in Identity and Access Management practices, understand complexities in managing end to end data programs and in-depth knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
To be successful in this role, the candidate would require a balance of product-centric technical expertise, IAM program management from an executive and technical aspect, and a good knowledge of IAM practices, which includes but not limited to Identity Governance and Administration, Privilege Access Management and Access Management, Risk and Compliance, and Audit process.
This role requires interaction with technical staff and senior business and IT partners around the world as well as peer program stakeholders (Risk Management, Application Owners, HR, etc.) This role would include engagement with multiple concurrent teams and projects.
This position will work closely with the Global Identity and Access Management teams as well as other stakeholders in the US as well as globally.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Manages executing complex, transformational, multidisciplinary global enterprise IAM projects/program.
  • Create and track timelines. Report on timelines health of the projects/programs.
  • Oversee and track budget. Report financial health. Create and manage budget change requests related to the projects/programs.
  • Builds and maintains effective on-going communications and relationships with all stakeholders and executives.
  • Create and distribute status reports. Host project and steering committee meetings, capture meeting minutes and distribute.
  • Implements Risk Management to ensure that all risks are identified and appropriately mitigated.
  • Implements Issue Management to ensure that all issues are documented, tracked and timely resolved.
  • Creates and maintains of project/program documentation according to established procedures. Ensures that all project documentation (minutes, status, presentations, etc.) is up to date and available to all team members.


Required Skills:

  • 5 - 8+ years' experience in enterprise-wide implementation of complex projects, ideally within IAM or information security.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up IAM or technology processes in a similar type of company setting.
  • Strong project management skills. Experience working enterprise complex large scale, multi-team, programs in agile development methodologies.
  • Strong program management presentation, executive presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in IAM or technology program deliverables and executive level presentation.


Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ plus years of experience supporting IAM Steering Committees.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMP and/or PgMP.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies on the fly and ship to production.


The salary range for applicants for this position is $100,000 - $155,300.
