We are growing our Product Marketing team to support our continued business growth and go to market strategy for our Payroll product area. As the Head of Product Marketing - Payroll at HiBob, you will support pipeline creation and revenue goals for our prospects and customer base by conducting market, competitor and customer research, planning our marketing strategy and supporting the associated sales strategy, crafting value-based messaging tailored for the payroll audience, and create and package the collateral, tools and enablement assets to support the field. You are an expert on the value proposition and product offering for the payroll product, you will partner with product managers on feedback to improve product/market fit for your product line and you will partner with marketing and sales to drive pipeline and revenue for payroll.
You are a strategist and storyteller with the right mix of creative and analytical skills. You're a master of strategic research and love to create, deploy and optimize messaging in the field. You're curious about the market, competitors, prospects and passionate about telling a clear, value-led story to drive revenue. You're a flexible, enthusiastic team player who is cross-functional and love the thought of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
What will you do?

  • Work closely with Product Management to provide market, competitor and customer insights for strategy and planning of the Payroll roadmap
  • Develop product positioning, value proposition and messaging for the Payroll offering
  • Plan and manage Payroll product launches cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Create compelling payroll specific marketing and sales collateral in formats such as web pages, video, one pagers, decks, battlecards and more.
  • Be the voice of the Payroll market in the company: represent persona pain points for product planning, market opportunity and trends for marketing and sales planning, target ICPs for campaign and content planning.
  • Collaborate with our global marketing team on evergreen marketing programs to drive market awareness and generate pipeline.
  • Create the essential materials that will be used to train Marketing and Sales on the payroll value proposition


Base salaries for this role range from $170,000 - $230,000 per year.
Job Requirements
Requirements

  • A strong track record of product marketing experience within the Payroll space, preferably in B2B or B2B2C SaaS
  • Experience in planning and executing successful go to market strategies that drive market awareness, new customer acquisition and customer retention.
  • Demonstrate success in developing strategic messaging that synthesizes customer needs, business impact, product positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Proven ability to extract insights from research and translate those insights into go to market strategies.
  • Skilled visual and written storyteller with a customer-centric approach to marketing.
  • Ability to zoom in AND zoom out, looking at the big picture, at the details and at how they connect together.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to be self-driven as well as take direction to drive results with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a very fast paced startup environment with changing and evolving responsibilities.
