Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Head of Fundamentals, responsible for driving the growth, innovation, and excellence of our Fundamentals product. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the P&L for the Fundamentals product: Double-digit top-line ARR growth and contribution margin growth.
  • Design, develop, and drive the execution of the Fundamentals product and commercial/GTM roadmaps in partnership with Commercial, Marketing, Product Strategy, Product Management, and Technology teams.
  • Engage with Fundamentals clients to conduct demos, gather feedback, drive usage and innovation, and evangelize the Fundamentals product. 
  • Partner with the Data Operations team to design and implement a scalable data-quality program.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, global team.


Requirements: 

  • 7+ years of credit experience from buy-side, sell-side, or rating agency
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to engage with clients, attend meetings, and support business needs
  • Experience building and commercializing technology-enabled financial-data products. Ideally, has successfully managed a full product P&L with ambitious growth and profitability targets.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams, ideally global teams.
  • Experience partnering and driving execution and results through a highly matrixed environment: Commercial, Marketing, Product Strategy, Product, Technology, etc.
  • Understands fundamental data on two levels: (1) the subject matter and (2) how to structure and govern fundamental data models at scale.
  • Experience partnering with customers of financial data within the credit space; is a credible “trusted advisor” to buyers.
  • Inspires confidence with senior executives; can influence and persuade senior executives
  • Experience leading growth successfully through change.
  • Strong communication skills: written and oral.

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The base salary range estimate for this position is $235,000 - $250,000

The actual compensation will be at Octus’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
