A Day In Your Life

  • Financial Lead in Deal Desk Operations: Take a leading role in the deal desk operation, working closely with the GTM (Go-to-Market) team that manages the deal desk. This includes reviewing and approving deals, ensuring accurate deal structuring, and aligning with accounting models.
  • Commission Calculations: Accurately calculate and analyze sales commissions, ensuring timely processing and alignment with company policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with the GTM team, ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
  • SaaS KPI management: Calculate, trace and analyze SaaS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into business performance and support strategic decision-making.

What You Bring

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a SaaS company, supporting the GTM team is required.
  • Revenue Recognition and KPIs: Strong understanding of revenue recognition models and related KPIs within a SaaS company.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills required with proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Quotation tools.
  • This position is remote, however, the candidate should be based within a commutable distance to New York City (Tri-state region).  Travel to NYC may be required up to once a week.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $125,000- $145,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.
