As a Series A start-up, we’re in the beginning stages of an exciting journey! Though we've only been selling our product for two years, we already have an impressive customer list and a healthy pipeline of active prospects across multiple industries. We’re very encouraged by our initial success, customer response to our product, and the size of our addressable market. We must continue adding great teammates to keep scaling our revenue engine at an increasing pace.
As one of our early AEs, you’ll play an important role in helping strategize and execute our growth plan across the federal government and the adjacent ecosystem that serves it. Reporting to our head of sales, you’ll work closely with all leadership team members to drive new business acquisitions, accelerate our financial success, and contribute to the evolution of our products.
As a startup we all wear multiple hats, so you’ll need to be comfortable with both a revenue growth mandate and a broader portfolio of responsibilities. While there may be some ambiguity as we collectively learn and improve, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop a breadth of skills alongside a highly motivated, capable team.
What You'll Do At WireScreen:
- Run point on our U.S. Federal Civilian and adjacent new business sales efforts as the ‘face of WireScreen’.
- Oversee and expand the entire Federal Civilian territory, with a specific emphasis on key agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DoJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Department of Commerce, & U.S. Department of the Treasury.
- Prospect new opportunities and run the full sales cycle, with support from other members of the team, from initial conversation through contract negotiation.
- Exceed your quota and substantially increase our foothold in the Federal Civilian space through strategic prospecting and accurate pipeline forecasting.
- Partner with customer success on cross-selling and upsell opportunities where sales involvement is required.
- Apply best practices from your experience to define, implement, and operate an effective government-oriented sales program.
- Collaborate with the head of sales to map our addressable market, and plan and execute our sales approach.
- Contribute to the creation of high-value content showcasing WireScreen’s platform and practical use cases for integration into the sales cycle.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and the problems we help them solve to constantly improve our value proposition.
- Mentor other team members, developing their capabilities while guiding them through lessons learned from your experience.
- Act as a cultural bar-raiser, emphasizing collaboration, inclusion, learning, and experimentation within the team.
Who You Are / You Have:
