We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Executive Assistant/Office Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while supporting our VP of Corporate Enterprise Sales, NYC.
As an Executive Assistant/Office Manager within our Enterprise sales organization at Verkada, you will have high visibility across executive leadership. You will ensure that the day-to-day operations of the enterprise sales organization run smoothly, while facilitating an exceptional office experience. You are responsible for providing operational support with a strong focus on customer service, while working in collaboration with the Workplace Team to provide and maintain a positive office environment for our NYC office. You will be supporting the Enterprise Sales Leadership team in day to day operations such as calendar management, event planning, and other ad-hoc tasks.

This role reports directly to the VP of Corporate Enterprise Sales, NYC. 

Please note: this role is fully onsite in our NYC office; not hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Leadership to ensure our day to day operations and functions run smoothly.
  • Drive internal and external meetings - coordination, scheduling, organizing and event planning.  
  • Manage & maintain a strategic calendar: monitor & schedule calendar requests.
  • Be a strong support to leadership by taking on administrative duties to better support your executives (EX. taking notes, tracking action items, booking travel/accommodations, etc). 
  • Understand prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ad Hoc request that supports the Enterprise sales teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees by managing requests &  facilitating a positive office experience.
  • Facilitate the management of an ongoing delightful employee experience by providing operational support and maintaining the general organization and aesthetic of the physical office spaces.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the current Workplace programs (ex: mailroom operations, internal events, etc.)
  • Build an active relationship with business partners and teams to assess team allocations and occupancy needs as well as conference room usage.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential.
  • 2-6 years of administrative support and office management experience
  • Attention to detail, coupled with creative problem solving and superior communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset to handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance of potential issues.
  • Track record of accomplishment in all previous roles.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Proficient using Google G-Suite.

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$80,000$115,000 USD
