About the role
Flowcode is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our consumer experience engineering team. In this role, you will guide a multi-disciplined technical team with a focus on building engaging mobile-first consumer-focused experiences. This team will have an immediate and direct impact on end-user growth and rapidly expanding revenue channels for our business.
As the technical leader of the consumer experiences team, you will work closely with cross-functional partners in Design, Product, Marketing and Data to build new experiences, iterate on new features, and relentlessly test the effectiveness of our consumer offerings. In addition, you’ll lead a team of talented and diverse software engineers to enable and optimize a best-in-class consumer experience that scales across all of Flowcode’s customer base while guiding process and technical execution.
What you will be responsible for:
- Engineering product roadmap coordination and timely deliverables for our consumer experiences technical team and corresponding Product and Design partnership and coordination.
- Building and driving balanced processes to iteratively deliver quality, tested and reliable features to our customers
- Partnering on developing a documented and well-thought-out consumer experience testing strategy
- Sharing context and developing alignment to help the team connect the dots of their work and how it impacts the greater product suite and organization
- Using real-world engineering and product metrics to measure effectiveness
- Developing engineers on the team both professionally and in their growth at Flowcode and up-leveling your team and those around you
What makes you a good fit:
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager with consumer-facing products in a SaaS environment
- A strong history of running Agile processes, testing and interactive feature delivery in a SaaS environment
- Successfully built a high-performance team, outlined a mission, and executed goals
- Have a well-rounded full-stack technical background with a pragmatic and balanced engineering mindset
- Proven ability to prioritize and test based on internal and external feedback and product-driven metrics
- Able to thrive in a highly autonomous, fast-paced and high responsibility organization
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration experience with a focus on building Product organization relationships
This role is expected to be in office for at least three days a week.

- Base Salary: $190-230k
