Job Summary
This leadership role is critical to the Optimum Retail Team member responsible for developing and implementing the day-to-day strategic processes and essential improvements of retail store operations, focusing on the customer/employee experience. The role will support store sales attainment and revenue growth targets while enhancing store operations. This role collaborates with various business units, including Retail Operations, Technology, Legal, Marketing, Compensation, Finance, and Field Services, to achieve company targets and objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement retail store programs and processes aligned with sales goals and company initiatives.
Lead end-to-end project management for national projects and local market trials/pilots, from concept to implementation.
Present to senior leadership to influence critical decisions impacting programs and processes.
Provide comprehensive execution packages (communication, training, visual aids, support, reporting) to retail teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert for store operations with local and regional teams, incorporating feedback into final deliverables.
Lead coordination with executive leadership to develop new retail SOPs and enhancements to customer touchpoints.
Oversee the merchandising and marketing at the store level
Work across multiple departments to develop and administer the company's sales forecast.
Overseeing and creating sales quality and customer escalation process
Create financial modeling for planned initiatives.
Improve store operations by ensuring program accuracy, timeliness, and consistency through process design, audits, and complex decision-making.
Lead and develop a team of employees who provide training on day-to-day retail sales and operations.
Qualifications
Advanced Skills in PowerPoint and Excel
8+ years of experience in a retail sales and operations field, with at least ten years of management experience.
Proven track record of success in leadership roles, achieving tactical and strategic goals.
Strong knowledge of retail channels, strategic planning, team management, and report creation.
Experience with audit and compliance functions, customer-centric solutions, and sales support systems.
Knowledge of prioritizing projects, analyzing data, making decisions, and implementing quality improvement processes.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $141,372.00 - $232,254.00 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter.
