We’re looking for an entrepreneurial product leader to step into a Director of Product role to build and scale our product portfolio for Insurance Companies and Health Systems (collectively known as “Payers”).

The relationships we build with these partners lay the groundwork for our mission to increase affordable mental healthcare access. As the product leader overseeing this side of our marketplace, you’ll be responsible for executing on the vision and strategy of delivering exceptional products to our Payers. This work will include developing new features and products in close partnership with payers, leading innovative pilots for groundbreaking new initiatives, investing in cost and quality of care, and exploring new revenue opportunities among our payers.

What you’ll do at Headway:

  • Build 0 to 1 product experiences that unlock new value for Payers in our network.
  • Deep customer discovery to identify and engage 10x opportunities with Payers.
  • Develop a vision and strategy for how we co-design programs and products with Payers, keeping quality and cost of care top of mind.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, data, and other cross-functional partners to learn and ship quickly.

You’ll be great for this role if you:

  • Have 0 -> 1 product experience: You have 7+ years of experience building net new products and 2+ years of experience managing people (Founder experience is a definite plus).
  • Enterprise / B2B experience: You love learning about the incentives, structure and goals of enterprise customers and uncovering novel value in their organizations.
  • Thrive in ambiguity: You love tackling ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment with an optimistic and energizing attitude.
  • Customer-Centricity: You possess deep user empathy, have strong intuition on how they think, and love delighting them.
  • Experimental: You’re innately curious and eager to quickly test and learn how users will respond to new experiences.
  • Analytical & Decisive: There is a lot of green field here and one challenge will be clarifying what we do and don’t do. A sharp mind and appreciation for trade-offs is a must.
  • Results driven: You care deeply about creating impact and driving results for Headway’s mission.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary information is based on a single salary target per role:
    • The starting salary for Director, Product Management - Enterprise Product is $290,000.
