Chief of Staff @ Clay
We are looking for a dynamic Chief of Staff to both co-founders Kareem Amin and Varun Anand. You'll be the driving force behind efficient executive operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with the leadership team, playing a key role in scaling our business. Your responsibilities will span across various functions, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the entire company.
In this role, you can expect this general break-down to start:
Executive Operations

  • You'll work closely with Kareem and Varun to maximize their effectiveness, with full access to email and calendars. This part of the role requires anticipating needs, managing follow-ups, and ensuring thoughtful follow-through on action items.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for investor relations and board meeting preparations, streamlining processes to minimize friction. We are also hiring for an EA who can help with more logistics-related work.


Internal Communications/Operations

  • You'll lead communication initiatives across the business to foster transparency, engagement, and alignment across all teams. As an example this would mean helping to run our company-level meetings or building decks with other business leaders that they can present at all-hands meetings.
  • You'll ensure that key information flows smoothly between departments, enhancing collaboration and alignment on company goals and internal planning.


Special Projects

  • There will be projects that don't neatly fall into a single department that you will take on. This could range from building out our leveling system to setting up the infrastructure to send quality swag at scale to running leadership off-sites.

  • EQ. Navigate interpersonal dynamics, manage conflict, and communicate well.
  • Great backgrounds can vary. Minimum 4-6 years in startups, consulting, or finance/investing could give you a great foundation.
