About the role:
Are you looking for a highly motivated team working together to build a category-defining product driving massive social impact The Business Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and facilitating special projects/strategic initiatives within the organization. This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a versatile person who can balance high-level thinking with keen attention to detail. This role will work closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to optimize processes, foster collaboration, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
As with any fast-growing, early-stage team, responsibilities are likely to evolve. The Business Operations lead can expect to work directly with Beam's co-founders (the CEO & the CTO), and cross-functionally across CS, Sales, Product, Integrations and Engineering teams.
- Develop and implement efficient and scalable operational processes across various business functions.
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
- Support Customer Success in scaling B2B partnerships by building ROI case studies for Beam clients, identifying opportunities for optimization of Beam’s product offering, and developing new best practices
- Lead the identification of new metrics to enhance the performance of Beam’s B2B products and collaborate with Product to visualize them most effectively for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify the most promising business opportunities based on trends in sales lift to inform Beam’s BD strategy
- Analyze the effectiveness of cross-functional internal processes and identify areas of improvement
- Lead revenue forecasting and AR processes across Beam's business units
About you
This is a client-facing role for someone who wants to join a company on a path to major scale while creating tremendous social good. The ideal candidate is analytical, tenacious, energetic, driven by impact, and loves a challenge. They excel at written and in-person story-telling, extracting insights from data, and team-building.
Requirements include:
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Operations / Strategic Finance at a high-growth SaaS company
- Having previously owned a revenue-related KPI and having had experience communicating ROI
- Strong analytical foundation with advanced Excel and SQL proficiencyTrack record of building and optimizing revenue operations processes
- Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Bonus Points If You:
- Have early-stage startup experience (Seed to Series B)
- Come from a management consulting or data science background
- Have worked with subscription/usage-based revenue models
- Bring experience managing AR partnerships and processes
- Have scaled operations in fast-growth environments
- Biz Ops experience at an e-comm enablement/subscription tech company
