About the Role
The analyst selected will become an expert in surveilling Single Family Rental and Reverse Mortgage securitizations. Upon performing a deep-dive, the analyst will formulate a memo summarizing the transaction and including cogent rationale for each proposed rating. The analyst will then present and defend the findings to the Rating Committee.
Additionally, the selected analyst will instruct other team members and will be responsible for record retention and post-committee processing.
Job Responsibilities
The selected analyst will report to the Head of US RMBS Surveillance and be part of the RMBS Surveillance group. Job Responsibilities include all manner of qualitative and quantitative techniques to get the rating right.
Qualifications
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in finance, math, engineering, or any other related field. 3+ years of experience in analysis of RMBS securitizations including quantitative experience with either Single Family Rentals or Reverse Mortgages.
- Thorough understanding of credit and legal aspects of structured finance in the residential mortgage product area.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
