monday.com is looking for a Technical Writer to create high-quality, concise and comprehensive documentation for our developer platform, APIs and integration processes. You’ll join our Enablement Team based in our headquarters, in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Please note that this role is on a hybrid model in our NYC location.


About The Role:

  • Develop user-friendly documentation, including API documentation, technical specifications, user guides, and knowledge base articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and coherence
  • Produce or use visual aids, such as flowcharts, diagrams, mockups, & screenshots, to complement written documentation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product managers, to gather information and understand complex technical concepts for effective documentation
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all documentation, ensuring version control, accessibility, and ease of navigation
  • Continuously improve documentation processes, tools, and practices to streamline content creation and maintenance, with alignment on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical writing 
  • Conduct research, gather requirements, and stay up-to-date with the latest software features and updates to deliver accurate and relevant documentation
  • Participate in usability testing and provide feedback to enhance the user experience of our applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience writing and leading technical documentation for developers. We are also open to backgrounds in development and technical education
  • Experience with GraphQL, JSON and JavaScript - bonus
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills. You can write technical documentation in a readable way, and also write compelling articles to drive engagement
  • You have a good understanding of technical concepts like APIs and web applications
  • Amazing interpersonal communication. You can build relationships quickly and find successful outcomes across teams
  • You are a strategic thinker. You can identify opportunities in our content strategy, execute new initiatives, and then measure their success

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $70,000-$100,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
