The Job

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, handling accounts receivable, and coordinating with customers to maintain efficient financial transactions.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on contract terms, usage, or other billing criteria.
  • Verify billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices.
  • Monitor billing cycles and proactively address any discrepancies or issues in the invoicing process.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with customers regarding billing inquiries and disputes.
  • Collaborate to address billing-related concerns and inquiries. 

Your Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in accounts receivable or billing within a SaaS company is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of billing and accounts receivable principles
  • Previous experience in using accounting software and billing systems is desirable (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mind related to process improvement.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
