The Opportunity
ISMG’s Sales Team is the heartbeat of the organization and the work they do is essential for our continued growth and success. As an Account Executive with ISMG, you will focus on targeting executive level decision makers of enterprise Cybersecurity and Information Security vendor organizations, aiming to serve as a strategic advisor by understanding their unique marketing and branding needs and effectively positioning our dynamic portfolio of solution offerings. 

In this role, you will be responsible for new business development and client acquisition, working off an assigned target account list and supplementing with additional prospecting as needed, while maintaining consultative relationships with existing clients to maximize relationships for ultimate revenue growth. In order to meet projected revenue goals, you'll consistently analyse the market, and your assigned territory, to identify gaps and strategize on creative ways to persist and perform.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing a high level understanding of ISMG's offerings and a strong base level knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape to elevate prospecting communication with clients.
  • Identifying and acquiring new clients through diligent and targeted outreach via cold-call, email, and networking tactics.
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and client relationships.
  • Achieving agreed upon sales targets and performance outcomes within schedule.
  • Implementing and executing ISMG’s integrated sale cycle which includes: Lead Generation & Prospecting, Sales Development & Lead Nurturing Campaigns, Discovery & Needs Analysis, Opportunity Qualification & Solution Presentation, Negotiation & Closing, and Order Fulfilment & Post-Sale Support.


What you’ll bring for success

  • BS/MS degree in related field.
  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle B2B Professional Sales experience.
  • Experience targeting executive decision makers within Media, Marketing, Branding, or Research/Content divisions.
  • Formal training in one of the following Sales methodologies (or another formal process): MEDDIC, Value Selling, Challenger Selling, Sandler.
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to establish productive professional business relationships.
  • Ability to create and deliver high level presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM practices.
  • Outstanding time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • A solution-oriented and results-driven mindset with a desire to make a true impact.
